Our Mission
Bronze by The Lake is a charity event to raise funds for Blue Hope. Blue Hope is a not-for-profit charity that provides support to current and former police officers from all around Australia. Blue Hope is an independent organisation and as such is not affiliated with any Australian police service or government department. Blue Hope is an invaluable organisation in supporting both current and retired police officers and families. They provide a range of services including;
Blue Hope provides access to an in house psychology clinic called Elevation Psychology. This is open to current and former police officers and their family members.
Blue Hope run peer support groups for current and former police officers and their families. These groups have been running since 2018 and are currently expanding throughout the country.
Blue Hope run a range of social, sporting and adventure activities. Events include coffee catch-ups, family fun days, hikes, bike rides, barbecues, golf days, 4WD trips, camping trips and international treks.
Blue Hope drop-in centre and social club is available for all current and former police officers and their families. Enjoy a coffee with mates or drop by on the weekend for lunch or to watch the footy on the big screens. Keep an eye out for dates and times.
Blue Hope also boast a subsidised, fully functional fitness gym for members. Completed in 2020, our gym is be staffed by volunteers with classes run by a number of highly respected tactical operators and physical fitness trainers.
Blue Hope run education seminars about a range of topics including nutrition, mental health, managing your finances and legal matters. They also have a number of guest speakers who share their knowledge and wisdom on a regular basis.
Blue Hope have joined forces with a number of specialist organisations to provide access to programs designed to assist current and former police officers in the transition to another career.
Blue Hope has a legal team from Optimum Legal and are available to provide information about a range of legal issues ranging from family law to workers compensation matters.

Our assist line is available to assist current and former police officers who need support. When you call, you will speak with someone who has police experience who is standing ready to connect you with our services.
Bronze by the Lake is one of the most unique car events going around and it’s held at the iconic Lakeside Park Raceway, north of Brisbane. It’s a charity event to raise funds for Blue Hope Support Services Ltd.
It’s a family friendly, safe, and relaxed event that is for QPS members, family and friends and not open to the public. There’s food, refreshments, music, and trade stands. All cars are encouraged, and entrants can take part in the show n shine, cruise laps, happy laps, roll racing and the Nancycarna driving event. Compete in all the events and be in the running for the Dave Masters Grand Champion Trophy.
It’s a great day to bring the family and catch up with friends!
